TALK ABOUT A DUDE WITH BAD LUCK...WELL MAYBE NOT SUCH BAD LUCK!

How do you get arrested 79 times by age 30, and still make yourself a hazard to the community? This is truly a condurum that I'm studying after seeing that this dude in Monroe, LA has been arrested now 79 times...this one has got me stumped.

A Monroe man has been arrested for the 79th time after Ouachita Parish sheriff’s deputies seized drugs from his home.

Members of the Ouachita Parish Special Crime Apprehension Team arrested Billy T. Wilhite, 30, of 1103 S. Fourth St., Monroe, on Friday following a raid on his home.

Deputies said the drugs were within the reach of five children.

Sgt. Chris Tolbird with the Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Office said deputies seized 44 rocks of crack cocaine, four bags of individually-wrapped marijuana and a vial of phencyclidine, also known as PCP.

Five children, all under the age of nine, were inside the house at the time of the raid, along with several adults.

Wilhite’s bond is at $255,000. He also has a detainer placed on him by the State Probation and Parole Office.

Wilhite denied the drugs were his and was arrested.

Now I don't know about y'all, but I think this dude must be connected up with the judge in Monroe, or have some dirt on the Ouachita Parish DA. I mean...age 30...78 prior arrests...and he's still out on the street? Well, I'll give Wilhite credit. He had his wits about him enough to claim that the drugs belonged to somebody else (that's what I would have said, since the cops have never heard that one before).

Maybe that's how he got off on the previous 78 charges...a really sharp dude!
