HUSSEIN TO RESIGN SENATE SEAT...

Well, I guess it was inevitable. Hussein is going to resign from the US Senate (was he ever there?) I don't think it's legal to be born in Africa, register voters 57 times, help ruin your local school system, partner up with admitted terrorists and wack-job preachers, never show up in the US Senate, and be President-elect at the same time. So, he has to resign from one of these. I guess he decided to quit the one job he never did...representing the folks of Illinois in the US Senate.

Man, we are in deep dookie...

WASHINGTON--President-elect Barack Obama will step down from his U.S. senate seat on Sunday, he said in a statement on Thursday. All political eyes in Illinois are on Gov. Rod Blagojevich to see who he will select to replace Obama for the two years remaining in his term. Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr. (D-Ill.) has been the most overt in positioning himself, but other frontrunners include Rep. Jan Schakowsky (D-Ill.) and Illinois Veterans Affairs Chief Tammy Duckworth, who Obama appeared with on Veterans Day.

"It has been one of the highest honors and privileges of my life to have served the people of Illinois in the United States Senate. In a state that represents the crossroads of a nation, I have met so many men and women who've taken different journeys, but hold common hopes for their children's future.

I think Governor Rod Blagojevich ought to appoint Rev. Wright to finish out President-elect Hussein's term...or Bill Ayers...or maybe Bill Daley (looks like he might be looking for another job soon). The good people of Illinois should be very, very proud!
