What a glorious day we had in Northwest Louisiana. The weather "was" fabulous.
Me and The Mrs. went to this really unique food place called "Olive Garden" in Shreveport for lunch. We had to drive all the way across the Jimmy Davis Bridge to get there. But it was worth it! I'll tell ya'll, those salad greens were fresh...those skinny bread loaves were just right...and that eggplant parmesan was almost as good as The Mrs. cooks (don't tell her I said that...I told her it was terrible).
When we got home it "was" in the upper 70's. I "was" wearing shorts, a right-side-out T-shirt, and barefoot.
At about 4:30 this afternoon it started raining. It just rained for a couple of minutes. Now, at 7:30 pm the wind is howling, the temperature is dropping, the pecan trees in the yard are threatening my roof with their swaying (some cracking off) branches.
Crud...I hate cold weather. But here it comes...
I hate cold weather.
