THE PETArds ARE AT IT AGAIN!!! YOU CAN'T MAKE THIS STUFF UP...

The Pilgrim's Pride Chicken company is closing a large plant in Farmerville, LA. 1300 jobs are being lost. Let me translate...Farmerville is toast. 1,300 jobs lost in Farmerville, LA, plus the surrounding chicken producers that will go out of business is like a 500 pound bomb dropped on a dog house. It's a shame, and I don't know what the town will do.

But P.E.T.A. has an idear! I swear to y'all, this ain't from The Onion...It's from the New Orleans Times Picayune.

PETA wants Jindal to turn bankrupt poultry plant into 'Chicken Empathy Museum'

BATON ROUGE -- Chickens have feelings, too. And unappreciated brains.

That's the message delivered Wednesday to Gov. Bobby Jindal by the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals as the group suggested that Louisiana use state funds to turn a closing Pilgrim's Pride poultry processing plant in Farmerville into a "Chicken Empathy Museum."

"The museum could feature exhibits such as video footage from research . . . showing how smart chickens are," the group wrote in a letter to Jindal. "The Chicken Empathy Museum will have educational displays that highlight interesting facts about chickens, including that chickens are intelligent animals with mental abilities comparable to cats, dogs and even primates." (more)

Yep, this is the same group of PETArds that wrote a protest letter to Yasser Arafat protesting the use of donkeys in bombing attacks on innocent Israeli school children. Can't hurt the poor old donkeys! PETArded...

Never let it be said that the PETArds missed any opportunity to denounce human survival, denounce human recreation, or take advantage of the misery of their fellow men to make their stupid, ignorant, PETArded point! Some folks should not be allowed to reproduce...

  1. That PETA doesn't deserve anything but four letter words. Seriously, we allow these people to vote.

  3. But doesn't the PETArds reproducing break the covenant of their religion of worshiping animals and looking upon humans as The Great Satan? That seems contrary to their mission. I mean if you look at it from an non-idiotarian perspective. What in Hell am I saying?

    Never mind.
