Computing and Blogging for Virtual Dummies...(#2)

Okay, so we've got our first question from one of our visitors.  A very regular visitor (I'm talking about regularly stopping by Andy's place...I don't know about their BM history.  Just sayin'...) poses this question.

"I have seen in comments on Blogger blogs that sometimes the person making the comment uses italics, and bold print to emphasize a point, or to identify a particular point someone else has made.  How do you put words in "italics," or in "bold" print on a comment?

And, can you do the same thing on Wordpress, or Typepad blogs?"

Now, that there is a straightforward question if I've ever read one.  Good on ya', very regular visitor!

You'll need to check the comments to see if anyone answers this one.  Because I do not know the answer to it.

  1. See that lil message below about "using some HTML tags?" The first one is bold, the second is italics and the third is for embedding links, as in "href:" You need to open a tag with the code as below and then close it with a backslash, i.e., (i)words you want italicized(/i). Except use carats instead of parens.
