Just a reminder.

.

11 days.  And, we're back in the saddle.  Probably gonna be a rough ride this go-around, but I don't care.  Win, lose, or forfeit, I'm just ready to get this show on the road.

Our good Okie buddy, Staci sent me this link.  I think she secretly likes the guy.  Not as much as her boyfriend St. Nick, but she can't fool me.  This is just one of Les' pearls.  The entire collection is here...well, probably not the entire collection.  I don't think the internet is big enough to store and display them all.

  1. I always took up for Les - until that Ole Miss debacle last year. This will be a defining season for him, and for Crowton's offense. Only hoping.

  2. Even though I bleed red and white ("cardinal," actually!), I can't help but like ol' Les. He's his own man.

  3. Moogie, Lester (as Staci refers to Corch) is truly his own man. The mold was certainly broken after his production.

Jimbo, I have always taken up for Lester too. I find him to be a good-hearted soul with a couple of digits missing in his zip code. And the honest truth of life is that most of us do.

Les is just more high profile, and it is more evident to the world than it is for the rest of us. We all know that he rode St. Nick's horse for a while. And this is actually good. Now we will find out for certain what he is made of.

And, it's double good. He will find out, too. I like the guy on a personal level. Call me weird, but I think it's characters like Les that make "THE ONLY SPORT THAT REALLY MATTERS" what it is.

    Buck,
