NEW PURCHASE...

Well, it ain't a purchase just yet, but I'm thinking on it. Me and the Mrs. have been thinkin about upgrading from black and white to color tv. I was reading how we were gonna have to buy some kind of conversion box thing due to the fact that the tv people are changing the way they put out the picture (and sound I guess, too).

One conversion box thing is gonna be about $50 for each tv, so we're lookin at about $50 total. I just don't know if I want to put out that much money on black and white anymore.

So, I been looking at tv sets. I kinda like this one:



I figure I'd just go ahead on and get this 150" Japanese model. I kinda hate to spend that much money on foreign-made goods, but the Japanese folks are okay.

So, what-a-ya-say? I gotta decide before LSU starts playing next fall.
