I got a comment from a fellow that seems to be very classy, and quite sharp, about the blog post I published about government money going to a "gay and lesbian bowling league." I thought I would show it to y'all.
Let me clarify for a moment that the post was meant to be one of those posts that pokes fun at people that look down on homosexuals. I don't. Those of you that know me, know that I believe homosexuals are born homosexuals. I don't accept that it is a choice. This is not to debate that issue.
Secondly, the government money made its' way to the gay and lesbian bowling league in a really round-about way...completely understandable in truth.
I just found it interesting that the post was even "found" by the GayGames...I'm still learning about how all this blogging stuff works.
Here is the comment:
"Well, I am not painting any one green, but perhaps we can paint you pink for a day?
This should send you spinning. In 1982, they held the first Gay Games in San Francisco. It has repeated every 4 years all over the world. In 2006, 12,000 athletes in Chicago, In 2010, Gay Games will be in Cologne, Germany and will also have over 12,000 participants.

Almost every large city in the world has gay sports teams. 99.9999999 percent get zero from the government. I was shocked to see grant money for gay bowling. That is almost unheard of in the U.S.A.
There are international organizations of every type of sport you can think of that are gay and lesbian organized. We are all volunteer and athletes.
Please understand, they are gay organized, but often have tons of straight men and women that join the clubs. We do not discriminate. We just ask that you act gay in public. (kidding)
