Earlier this week, the Obama campaign through back channels floated the possibility of a prominent role for former Vice President, and Nobel Peace Prize winner Al Gore. Gore is very popular in the Democrat Party, and this was seen as a wise tactic by the campaign.
Not to be outdone, a Clinton campaign official today (on condition of anonymity) raised the possibility of a prominent role for music legend Willie Nelson in a new Clinton administration.
Ideas range from Director of the Office of Management and Budget, to Head of the Internal Revenue Service. But this official told me that he would most likely be appointed "Chairman of the Chief Staff of Joints."
