Well, my man Hillary drubbed BarackO' yesterday in the Pennsylvania democrat primary. This is real bad for the Democratics for sure. Let me tell y'all why...
Looking at the numbers, I surmise that it's gonna be bad for them in the general election. In the 2004 Presidential election John stinkin' Kerry beat W in PA. He got almost 3 million votes to about 2,800,000 for Bush. The actual vote difference was about 145,000. 145,000 votes is really a pretty slim margin out of the almost 6 million votes cast.
In the primary yesterday, my man Hillary beat BarackO' by just about 200,000 votes, garnering about a million and a quarter PA voters. No one can convince me that at least 200,000 of Hillarys' voters are never going to vote for some young punk elitist black guy for President. Not to mention the fact that thousands of democratics just sat this one out because they don't plan to vote for either one of them in the general election. Not to mention the fact that tens of thousands of Republicans switched parties to vote for Hillary in the primary...and they're never going to vote for BarackO'.
It is going to be a Johnny Mac vs. BarackO' contest in November. Johnny is going to do what Bush couldn't by winning Pennsylvania.
This is shaping up to be an electoral landslide of Goldwater/McGovern/Dukakis/Carter (1980) proportions.
