ANN COULTER BACK IN THE SADDLE...

If you missed the news a while back that Ann Coulter's jaw had been wired shut after a bad fall, you'll be glad to know that the mouth that launched a thousand barbs is back in action.

At the time of her mishap, I supposed that what had really happened was this:

Ann wakes up one morning, brews some coffee, and sits down to read all of the insane things that liberals have done overnight. Still foggy from one too many martinis the night before, a wave of compassion sweeps over her. Her heart begins to break for all misguided, and foolish liberals everywhere. A tear forms in the corner of one eye as she realizes how these unfortunate souls have been duped and programmed to believe the lie that is liberalism.

Finally, she breaks out into a full-blown snot-cry for the souls of liberals.

Then she drinks a sip of coffee, comes to herself, runs from the house into the street (in bathrobe and house shoes), and slams her own face into the first hybrid on the block. She feels much better now...

Yep, Ann is back. You can tell that she's still lisping a bit. But heh...Ann ain't gonna let a little thing like a broken jaw shut her up for long. Ann is the Joe Theisman of pundits (Broken arm? Heck, that ain't gonna keep me out of this game, dangit!)
