At Tarawa the US armed forces lost almost as many men in three days as we have in the whole battle for Iraq.
In 1943, Soldiers and Marines hadn't been handcuffed by politicians, political correctness, and an anti-American media. Come to think of it, they hadn't been handcuffed by a populace that are too ignorant, lazy, and void of morality to understand what was at stake either. God bless our troops! I just don't know if I could give it my all in battle knowing just what kind of idiotic whimps I was fighting for.
