As the curtain comes down on another season, everybody is ticked off...as usual. Everybody except GatorNation. In the final AP poll, Florida is ranked #1, as well they should be. But of course #2 Utah is upset, and #3 USC (gimme a stinkin' break...USC?), and #4 Texas all think they ought to be the champ.
Sorry guys, Florida is head and shoulders above any other team in the good old US of A!
It has been suggested that Utah should have been in the big dance with Florida last night. I've been pondering on that, and wondered if the Utes could have beaten the Gators. Anything can happen, of course, so you can't say. But I know one thing...it wouldn't have been any more entertaining.
Utah, with a perfect 13-0 record, which is a great achievement for any team, thinks they got the shaft. Well, let's take a look at their 13-0 season.

I'll give them their due though. TCU is no pushover, nor is BYU, or Oregon State. And they did beat the literal snot out of 'Bama. There's no doubt that they have an excellent team. But until you start having to play Texas & Okie State & Missouri & Nebraska & Georgia & Ole Miss & LSU & 'Bama level teams week in and week out (at least 6 or 7 times in a season), #2 should satisfy you.
And USC...shut up! You're in the stinkin' Pac-10...
