PRESIDENT BUSH HEADS HOME...

So long President Bush! You faithfully waged a war against those bent on the destruction of civilization. Good job.

I'm disappointed in much that President Bush has done. But it wasn't all his fault. W is not blessed with the communication skills necessary to move public opinion. He tried to reform social security (which will one day bankrupt my children...thank you very much) for about two days...could not make the case.

While President Bush gave us some excellent Supreme Court Justices, he left too many good, decent, originalist judges swinging in the wind...could not make the case.

He grew government at an alarming rate, increasing entitlements, therefore the entitlement mentality.

Bush is an odd bird in many ways. As confrontational as he has been in war, he has been almost that meek in the battle against American liberalism. The truth is, he's a bit of a lib himself in many ways.

So, go on home to Texas. Enjoy your life. They'll be kicking you around for a while, but eventually another Republican will come along and take your place in the whippin' line.
