STAY OUT OF NEW ORLEANS...IT JUST AIN'T WORTH THE RISK!

Well, New Orleans continues to notch it's pistol as the Murder Capital of the US. Last Saturday night, two 15-year-old, and one 14-year-old upstanding young residents of New Orleans headed down to the French Quarter armed with pistols, intent on robbing somebody, or several somebodies.

What these worthless sacks of crap did instead, was gun down an innocent woman in cold blood. Wendy Byrne was a popular bartender, and resident of The Quarter. She was active in the effort by Quarter residents to fight the rising tide of crime in their neighborhood.

Faces of Evil...

From the Times-Picayune article:

A 14-year-old boy, the third suspect in the French Quarter killing of 39-year-old Wendy Byrne, was turned in by his parents Thursday night, police said.

Two 15-year-olds were booked with murder Tuesday by New Orleans police after their mothers noticed they resembled suspects sketched by a police artist after the killing of the French Quarter bartender. Their mothers insisted they turn themselves in.

The search for the third suspect had been under way for days. Police said they knew his identity, but were having difficulty locating him. They have declined to identify him since his arrest because he is a juvenile.

The suspects arrested Tuesday were booked with first-degree murder and attempted armed robbery, according to NOPD Superintendent Warren Riley.

Byrne, a well-known bartender and French Quarter resident, was walking with an acquaintance at about 8 p.m. Saturday night near the intersection of Dauphine and Gov. Nicholls streets when the attack occurred.

Three boys, including one with a gun, approached the pair and demanded money, police said. Byrne did not resist, police said. Yet at some point one of the boys shot her, and the teens fled the scene without her money.

And an update from ABC26 News in NO..

ABC26 has learned police have arrested the third suspect in the French Quarter shooting of bartender Wendy Byrne. He's a 14-year-old boy -- may have been in Washington, D.C. with a family member on Tuesday for the Presidential inauguration. Meanwhile, the two teenage suspects in custody remain in Orleans Parish prison tonight, waiting to find out if the DA will prosecute them as adults.

District Attorney Leon Cannizzaro is trying to decide whether to ask a grand jury to indict Drey Lewis and Reggie Douglas for first degree murder. The two 15 year olds are suspects in the fatal shooting of Wendy Byrne, a popular French Quarter bartender. Today, a judge found probable cause to transfer the two out of juvenile court to adult court for their first degree murder arrests.

What in the hell are 14 & 15 year old kids doing out on a Saturday night in the Quarter? The news reports I have read indicate that they weren't Quarter residents, and had to take some kind of transportation in order to murder an innocent, hard-working woman. Other news reports indicate that she was shot in the back as she walked away.

It seems that these demons were all turned in eventually by their parents after seeing composite sketches in the media. As badly as I hate to think this, their parents are probably glad to be rid of them (I already know that ain't Christian, so don't tell me so). This last cat couldn't be found because he went to D.C. to see Obama inaugurated. I guess he was trying to rake up some road money ahead of the "big trip."

Stay out of New Orleans. It ain't worth it! You can get drunk anywhere. You can find titty bars and whores most anywhere. You can buy a cassette with jazz music on it. The only thing you can't get somewhere else is the food. It is the best in the world...but it ain't worth it...unless you want a fabulous last meal.
