In the wake of the attack by a chimp on a woman in Connecticut, the US House of Representatives has leaped into action!
Thank God we've got Johnnies-on-the-spot in Congress. The moronic, knee-jerk doofuses in the US House has passed a bill that might prohibit folks from keeping chimpanzees as pets.
Okay...that's cool with me. One old chick gets mauled by a chimp. So, when are the brave, wise, all-knowing Congressmen going to pass a law prohibiting the ownership of PitBulls? How many hundreds (maybe thousands) of people are mauled every year in this nation by those demonic animals?
We get one chick attacked by a chimp...we need an act of Congress, damnit! We get hundreds mauled and killed by PitBulls...do the math. Congress is a bunch of worthless, knee jerk, moronic idiots...
And I must say that my own (usually) very reasonable, wise Senator David Vitter is on board with this in the Senate. Hey Dave...I'm disappointed in you...why don't you start with real threats, and work your way down???

Have you ever looked closely at the people that are selling Pit Bull pups off the back of their truck in the Wal Mart parking lot? Or, for that matter, the ones that are praising their loving Pit Bulls after they maul or kill someone?
ReplyDeleteMy observation is that many of these people are the same ones that are on the dole, and, therefor voting for the Demo Bull o Crats in the first place. They may think of themselves as rednecks, but they are rednecks on the take!
So.... how is congress gonna vote against the favorite pet of many of their most ardent supporters?
Heh! I never thought about it that way, but you're probably right.
ReplyDeleteWhen Ross was 2 years old, a charging PitBull got within a couple of feet of him. Fortunately, I was wearing pointed-toe boots, and caught the demonic animal with a kick that would have made Tom Dempsey proud.
The animal's owner had gotten to us by then and grabbed the 2" link chain that the dog was dragging, and corralled the damn thing.
I've got a good bit more bias against PitBulls than chimps...
