CONGRESS NEEDS TO PASS A LAW...AGAINST DUNKING...

...or at least force the NCAA to raise that goal up two feet higher.

In what I would call a "near death experience," Wyoming's Adam Waddell in a postseason basketball game in the College Basketball Invitational (whatever that is) almost killed himself due to the fact that he's a white boy that can jump good enough to "dunk it."

I think the Senators from Wyoming need to introduce a bill to make sure that nobody can't NEVER, NEVER, NEVER, EVER put themself at risk this way. Heck, put that goal on up to 13 1/2 feet...just to be safe...

I doubt it'll happen though, because Wyoming has two Republican Senators. We all know that Republicans believe in less government, and less regulation...especially when it comes to college sports...

  1. That is way too dangerous! Thanks for bringing it to our attention.

As you say, congress needs to get involved! Safety is at issue. At the very least the game of basketball needs to be placed under the purview of OSHA. Heck, you have to have special training to operate a forklift, and this looks far more dangerous than that.

Helmets should be mandatory! Congress has been lax in their oversight. America's youth is at great risk. We may want to consider a soft floor, something like a really thick wrestling mat. Perhaps suspending all players in a harness attached to the ceiling, so they can't bang their heads would be a logical move.

Congress must move immediately to coddle all Americans. How else will they survive and prosper against the ravages of the cruel world? Basketball is obviously a chief problem now. Viz, the video. Action is called for. Write your congress person and senators at first opportunity. Demand action.

Oh, and while you are at it, demand that scholarships should be returned and rescinded as unfair, since schools are getting federal and state funding. NBA players should give back at least 9/10 of their earnings....ill begotten plunder for sure!
