As a guy that has picked up the guitar three or four times in my life with a firm intention of mastering it...only to FAIL...I have great admiration (even envy) of guys that can play.
One thing I've noticed about guitar pickers is that while they love to show off...they love it when other guys do, too. And they really like it when they get to show off with another show-off.
