The stupid Egyptians are slaughtering every hog in stupid Egypt-

Somebody call PETA! Now, I don't know any Egyptians personally, and I'm sure they're fine people for the most part. But talk about STUPID!!!

The article tells it all, and is worth a read. I've got to let some Egyptians off the stupidity hook though. Seems that the Muslim Brotherhood thinks it's a retarded idea, too.

Back during the "bird flu" world-ending event, the Egyptians killed 25 million birds in a few weeks.

I wonder if the stupid Egyptian government doesn't realize how badly you can screw up your entire animal population...your environment...thus screwing up the human population by killing that many birds? Egypt is quickly becoming the Duh-ville of catastrophe management. Y'all think FEMA sucks in a "crisis."

In Egypt, even the editor of a pro-government newspaper criticized the order to slaughter the estimated 300,000 pigs, which was pushed by parliament and issued by the government.

"Killing (pigs) is not a solution, otherwise, we should kill the people, because the virus spreads through them," wrote Abdullah Kamal of the daily Rose El-Youssef. "The terrified members of parliament should have concentrated on asking the government first about the preventive measures and ways of confronting the problem."

Could you imagine what the pyramids would look like if Egypt started building 'em today???
