Here is a very interesting list of actors & actresses that wore the uniform in time of war, or supported those that did. Some of them you might not expect. They are all heroes. There are hundreds of others that you can find on the world wide computer.
These are just a few of my favorites. Not all of them served in the military, but they are all "good actors" in my book. Patriots one and all!

In case you didn't know, Jimmy Stewart was a true war hero in WWII, he flew B-17 bombers on missions over Germany. He was a Brigadier General in the US Air Force. He was in the Reserves for decades after the war and served his duty even while he was one of the most famous men on the planet. Men who served with him report he was humble, polite and respectful of those around him.
