No, not shame on this guy...I don't know of any civilian profession that I have any more respect for than that of a firefighter. They are true heroes, that routinely risk their lives for others. I love 'em!
On the Labor Day weekend you will see these gents at busy intersections, collecting money for the Jerry Lewis MDA Telethon...on their own time. I respect that, and usually help them "fill the boot."
But there are bad apples everywhere. Read this.
The heck of it is, knowing firemen the way that I do, I would bet that if this fellow needed some financial help and made it known, his brothers would have stepped up to help him.
