This is one of the most sickening things I have ever seen. (Not the picture, but the events)
ReplyDeleteCome to think of it, the picture begins to sicken me a little also. He knew. And did nothing.
What a way to end a famous career. Why couldn't he have gone Woody Hayes and slapped somebody instead? That too was pretty stupid, but at least more dignified than this.
ReplyDeleteI fear that we've only seen the tip of the iceberg of this particular scandal. That we'll soon be hearing evidence of a massive coverup by Penn State.
Dave, you're probably right. I've got mixed feelings about the whole mess.
ReplyDeleteI don't really know enough facts to know just why this played out like it did. I'd like to think that Joe was out of the loop on this deal. But, I suspect that he really wasn't.
And, that's a damn shame if it's true.
Those poor boys...
