Well...Jim Wells actually did bite, but he GoobleCheated, and he was man enough to admit it, so he did not collect the cash prize I offered.
For 50 blog points...
Tell me who these two guys are (Jim, I added to the first one you GoobleCheated on), and their lasting legacies.
1) Issur Danielovitch (You don't really need to go in to his lasting legacy, seein' as he ain't dead. Yet.)
b) Amos Muzyed Yakhoob Kairouz
And NO! They are not old commies, or current detainees at GTMO.

Cheated again, think somewhere in the back of my mind I knew #1, but I never would have thought of it!
ReplyDeleteJim, I had to Gooble it to get the exact name, but I knew #1 was something like that.
DeleteInteresting guys, both of 'em.
I know both of them and for the longest time I did not know that much about Amos. I did a Google search last year because a friend and I were talking about the most famous Lebanese person and he was it. He was just a danged good guy, what the Hell happened to make his daughter so retarded?
ReplyDeletePaul, you are right indeed. He was a dang good guy...and his life story is American to the core.
DeleteAs to what happened to his daughter? Your guess is as good as mine...
Pretty clever, misspelling Amos' name so when I ctrl-c/ctrl-v it into gooble you come up at #1 AND #2 on the gooble list!
ReplyDeleteDid I misspell it? Sigh.
DeleteI drew a blank and I didn't cheat. But based on the comments above, I got a damned good ideer about that "most famous Lebanese" person. There's only ONE, right? ;-)
ReplyDeleteRight! BTW...#1 is Kirk Douglas.
