COLD DAY IN HELL!

We've had a nice warm spell down south here, so I was just about to start paying attention to that Al Grover fellow about it getting hotter everywhere.

Then this comes along and adds great confusion to my mix.

A First! Snow Falls in Baghdad

Now, what I enjoyed about the article was this one Iraq fellow, and how excited he was about it all. I think this old boy is a Redneck. Read this from the article, and see if you don't think so too:

"For the first time in my life I saw a snow-rain like this falling in Baghdad," said Mohammed Abdul-Hussein, a 63-year-old retiree from the New Baghdad area.

"When I was young, I heard from my father that such rain had fallen in the early '40s on the outskirts of northern Baghdad," Abdul-Hussein said, referring to snow as a type of rain. "But snow falling in Baghdad in such a magnificent scene was beyond my imagination."

You can look at the whole article here

I have always (let me get my word book...) theorized that there are Rednecks everywhere. I just didn't realize they was over there in Iraq (I mean besides our brave Rednecks in uniform).

  2. Yep...evidently...but according to the article it doesn't stay that way long.
