Well, about two years ago my jeans started shrinking up on me, so I swore off ice cream. I've done real good.
But yesterday me and the Mrs. were doing our "big grocery shopping," and Wal-Mart had a 5 quart tub of Borden Cookies and Cream on sale for $3.99. Now you know that dairy products have gone "through the roof" since cattle feed became gasoline. So resisting was pretty easy. When I saw that sale, every wonderful experience with ice cream I ever had came rushing back...so I put a tub of it in the buggy. I'm ashamed to say it, but I picked up a bottle of Hershey's chocolate syrup on the way back to the place where you pay out.
So last night I went off the wagon. This is a recipe tip: Take a coffee mug, put 2 spoonsfull of peanut butter in it. Then squeeze the cup halfway full with Hershey's chocolate syrup. Put it in the microwave oven for 40 seconds (be sure and push the "start" button). Stir mixture until blended smooth. Pour on top of Bordens ice cream. Garnish with M & M's.
Y'all pray for me...I thought I had this one licked.
