GREAT PICTURE!

This is a great picture. In it you will see (left to right) New Orleans Congressman William Jefferson (currently under indictment for taking bribes), my good buddy Bobby Jindal (Governor of Louisiana), President George W. Bush, and Bobbys' wife Supriya.

President Bush was arriving in New Orleans for a meeting with the Presidents of Canada, and Mexico today when somebody took this computer picture. It ought to be a pretty good meeting. President Bush is (let me get my word book...) fluent in Mexican. I guess the only problem could come with trying to talk English/French with the Canuk (I been there to Canada, and they're harder to understand than cajuns).

So...we've got a huge old liberal crook, a hopeful young conservative genius, the leader of the free world, and a really sweet gal (wife and mother).

Bobby is obviously tickled by something that W said (or about to sneeze). President Bush might have told him the one about "these three Indian villagers come up on a tiger in the jungle..."

But I'm wondering who the other guy in this picture is. His face is covered up by W.

I think it's Al Grover, or at least the ghost of Al Grover hovering over the scene...probably fascinated with the fact that some people in the public eye still really "matter."

And also, probably waiting to ask Jefferson, "Bill, you got any extra ice cream in that freezer of yours?"

Crud...I hope they don't use this picture of him with William Jefferson against W when he runs for election next time...
