D.I.V.O.R.C.E...

Hey y'all,

I was out watching the Mrs. mow the grass this afternoon. It has been a beautiful Louisiana Spring day...78 for a high, no humidity, and no shootings here in "the hood."

I was just overcome with the overwhelmingness of how blessed I am! Some friends of mine, and some of my family are going through divorce right now. It makes me sad. I just hate it for them all (on both sides). It's tough on everybody involved...especially the kids.

I was reminded of the old Tammy Wynette song D.I.V.O.R.C.E., and how sad little J.O.E. was gonna be.

I fought back the tears when I went out there and told the Mrs. that she had "missed a spot" in the yard. I was thinking about faithful and wonderful she is. She just smiled real big and backed her new self-pulling, side discharge mower over the spot that she had missed. I love her...she is everything I've ever wanted, and everything I need.

I've been singing that song in my head all afternoon. It's a country music song too. I feel bad for Tammy. If Brad Paisley had been around back in Tammy's "day" (instead of George Jones), everything might have been different...
