She went across the fence to the black Baptist church behind our house, looking for the help of their Pastor. He's a real nice fellow...a real man of God.
She was trying to enlist the help of the congregation to look out in the neighborhood for her anniversary gift. The Pastor hates thievery just as much as The Mrs. does. He is going to notify the congregation of our plight, and tell them to look out for a green and yellow Yardman lawnmower. But he went a step further...
I like that Preacher. I might check out his church on Sunday...
