GAME DAY!

It's about 9:00 am on Saturday morning. Dangit! That means I've got 5 1/2 hours to wait until I watch my beloved LSU Tigers rip the guts out of those miserable, good for nothing, low class pieces of Bulldog dookie from the miserable University of Georgia.

I hate Georgia. As a Christian, I don't really like to "hate" at all. But as an LSU Tiger fan, I have to hate everybody else in the SEC. It's a rule.

You know, I just realized this morning that The University of Georgia is probably the only team in college football whose mascot UGA is prettier than the cheerleaders.

Not only are they a miserable bunch of ball players, they've got the whiniest head coach in football. Last season when my beloved Tigers went to the BCS championship instead of the Bulldogs, all you could hear out of Richt was "We should have been there...the BCS messed us out of it...we're a better team than them... Waa! Waa! Waa!

Heck, it is what it is Richt. A lot of teams get messed out of what they think they deserve. Just shut up and take it like a man, not some whiny little gal.

The miserable Bulldogs come into the game at 6-1, ranked #9. My Tigers come in at 5-1, ranked #11. The truth is that both of these teams are either overrated, or under-performing. Neither one of them has looked all that great. I'm hoping this will be a turn-around game for my Tigers.

We're sure not as good as we were in last year's championship season, but we've got the tools to get better. We do have the advantage of playing in Baton Rouge. Anybody that ever played an away game at Tiger Stadium will tell you that it is the most intimadating road game you'll face in a normal season. But the game is an afternoon game. My Tigers play better under the lights than anybody in football...not so much in the daylight.

So, I guess we'll see. I can't hardly wait. I'm so excited I might turn loose some water...
