LSU...38, WORTHLESS GEORGIA BULLDOGS...52

Well, I did my best to be upbeat, optimistic, and positive about my beloved LSU Tiger's chances against those miserable Georgia Bulldogs.

But deep inside, I knew just about how it was gonna go. I sent a friend a computer letter the other day telling him that we're just not really all that good this season. We've been overrated, and made too many mistakes all season. Maybe our second whipping will bring everybody's heads out of the clouds and get our feet back on the ground.

It could have been worse though. We only lost by two touchdowns, while giving away the ball too often, putting our defense in jeopardy the whole game, and facing a much more experienced offense. Congratulations to Georgia. They came into a hostile environment and made the most of all our mistakes.

Fortunately, we had a family get together this afternoon at Mom & Dad's. I was able to distract myself from the game by visiting with family, roasting wieners and marshmallows, etc. If I had been home, I'd have had to watch the whole miserable event play by play.

Well...this just ain't our year. But I still love my Tigers! Always have, always will!
