STILL TOO DANGED COLD!!!

Well, it's normally about 70 degrees here in NW Louisiana on Dec. 17. That's what I like about the South.

But it has been below freezing way too early, my bony frame shivers all day, and we haven't seen the Sun in weeks. I don't know how Alaskans like Sarah Palin can keep such a rosy outlook on life. Maybe they just burn down church buildings to keep warm.

I am just about to throw a shoe! (no joke intended...well maybe) The Mrs. told me "Don't even think about throwing a shoe at me...I'll pull the shoestring and throw it back!!!" I just love her...
