MARVIS FROM CAMPTI SPEAKS ON THE FAIRNESS DOCTRINE...

I was listening to our local talk radio guy a couple of days ago. Well, he's not really "local," he has a Statewide program...about 15 affiliates carry his program, and he focuses on Louisiana issues mostly. His name is "Moon Griffon." He's a coonass boy from Plaquemines, and real conservative.

The subject of the segment was the reinstatement of the "Fairness Doctrine." Of course, he was railing on and on in his Cajun/broken English, and making good points. But then Moon took a call. It went something like this...

Moon: Marvis, in Campti, LA, welcome to the show!

Marvis: Hey dere Moon, how's you durnnn?

Moon: Just fine sir, thank you!

Marvis: Look hyea Moon, I think it be neccessarialy dat we get da' Fairness Indoctrinal back.

Moon: And just why is that Marvis?

Marvis: Moon, it ain't got nuddin' tu do with conservationalism, or liberalitism. It got evuhthing to do wid repetrition.

Moon: Explain Marvis...

Marvis: Moon, you come on heah fo two hours, and den Limball for three, and den Hannity for two, and all day y'all just all be ejacurlating the same purnts.

Evidently Moon wasn't listening closely, and had already decided how he was going to answer poor old Marvis. If he had, he would have died laughing just like I did...I almost drove off the road...
