I had told y'all last May about the resurgence of the once mighty LSU Baseball Tigers.
Well, it's early on in the season for sure...but lookie lookie who's sitting at the top of the NCAA pile. The stinkin' Texas A & M Aggies had been number one until the mighty Centenary Gents (yeah...really) went down to College Station and whipped their fannies.
Of course, my Tigers lost Friday night to stinkin' Illinois...but came back Saturday to stroke 3 grand slams in a 22-10 pitching duel.
Like I say, it's early...lots of dingers to be dung, and sacks to get stole. But it does my heart good to see the tradition of winning return to "The Box."
