Yep! Duct tape is fabulous stuff. Maybe the eighth wonder of the world or something. I can't even number the gozillions of things I have fixed with it.
Chair seats, chairs, cars, trucks, leather couches, kids that won't shut up and sit down, etc.
Every "real man" that I know keeps a roll in the house, in the garage, in the shop, and in the truck. You just never know when you might need it. And the great thing about it is that IT NEVER GOES BAD. You can buy a roll today, and pass it on to your grandson when you croak in 30 years. It'll be as good as new...and he'll have even fonder memories of Grandpa...trust me.
So, buy a few rolls today. Heh, 3M, the maker of Duct tape has started a new advertising campaign showing the many uses of duct tape. I'm gonna run right out and get me some extras for Mother's Day gifts...
In fact, let's do something together, okay? Why don't y'all e-mail me your pictures of great uses for duct tape, and we'll just do a community blockbuster post. Then we'll call 3M up, and ask 'em if they'll feature it on their web-site. It's worth a shot!
Don't worry about getting 'em together right now...just keep it in the back of your mind, and whenever you think about an excellent use, or have a good picture pass it on to me. I will volunteer to be "Secretary" of the Duct Tape Club. We'll have to find a President though. I'm gonna try to get a hold of this guy and ask him if he's interested...
