There's a first time for everything! Linkie love...

In the almost 50 years that I have maintained this blog, there have been 48,822 posts. There have also been 43 comments.

In those almost 49,000 posts, I have linked to approximately 23,000 web addresses. And I have been often linked to. I'm all the way up to having to remove one shoe for countin' 'em all up!

But never, I tell you NEVER has a fellow blogger written a post specifically about little ole' me, and my linkie love. And I must say that I am humbled, and feel quite honored. It almost makes me blush.

Roses, over at ACK! THBBBT! (If she is not on your Google Reader, you need to take care of that post haste) wrote a post specifically to thank my rotten old self for links. You see, I have a trick about these kinds of things. If I want people to actually visit a blog, I do not link to them directly. I go into the "comments" of blogs that actually have traffic...drop the link with a recommendation...then move on down the road satisfied with a job well done.

Y'all might think about trying that. It works pretty good. Maybe one day, you too will be honored in such a way.

And Roses, keep up the good work, and thank you once again. I think I am blushing.
