Usually, something like Congressman Charles Boustany's (R-LA) call for an investigation of an obviously pro-Democrat group like ACORN would be dismissed. But this may go somewhere.
Though deeply in the minority, Boustany is "Ranking Member of the Oversight Subcommittee for the House Ways and Means Committee, has jurisdiction over tax policy and the Internal Revenue Service."
