Hi y'all! Hugs, kisses, yada yada yada...
I had told y'all about the Shreveport woman who may have purchased a Picasso at a yard sale in her trailer park.
Now, the story is making it to the national news. The story was featured on whatever ABC calls that show they do in the morning. I can't embed the video, but if you're interested you can find the story and video here.
Y'all have a great Monday! Do it! Do it for me!

I don't see the problem h'yar; what's wrong with buying $2 worth of pistachios at a garage sale?
ReplyDeleteHuh? What? A Picasso? Is that the artist that puts noses sideways in weird places on heads?
I'd rather have the $2 of pistashios ;-)
Andy, I found a garage sale treasure. My mom and I bought a chest of drawers.
ReplyDeleteAfter we got it home, I pulled a drawer out, and we saw, at the same time, a fat zippered bank bag, and then we hollered, at the same time, "It's mine!"
I opened it up, and at the same time we saw a stack of green bills. We both gasped, "It's mine!"
But, it was only a stack of 2$ bills..about 100.$
But for a second we thought we had hit the jackpot.
Moma got the loot.
HA! That's funny Nancy. Good for Moma. Ya' know...not just everybody remembers $2 bills.
ReplyDeleteI had to look it up on the computer (nyuk!). I never lucked up on anything at a garage sale.
But I did once sell a copy of a rare Marty Robbins album at one we had. I didn't know until later on that I had taken $1.00 for an album that was worth at least $2.50.
Dang...you'll never recover that lost $1.50 in El Paso...
