I just watched a war between LSU and Ole Miss!

Sigh...

It has been a bad day for Louisiana.

We were lucky to be close to victory on the football field, and in the Senate. We lost both wars.

The truth is that the cards were stacked against us on both counts, and I figured coming in to today that my best hopes would be dashed.

We've got an ugly witch for a Senator...and a clueless head corch. (He ain't ugly, he's just clueless)

I think them dozen Klan dudes that showed up to protest at Ole Miss may have jinxed us. Or, maybe it was that wicked witch, Mary.

Regardless, it's tough being a Louisiana boy today...

But, in the words of the great philosopher, Donna Summer, "I will survive."

I will lay it all out for y'all tomorrow, as to how bad Mary Landrieu has picked your pocket...and as to how lame Les Miles is.

As for now, I've got some dinner to drown my sorrows in, and a bit more football to watch...

  1. As I told you earlier this season, Les Miles is a homeaux.

I'm sorry, Andy, believe me, I know how you feel.

  2. Andy, I am voting to fire one of my senators and my house rep. Rally everyone in your neck of the woods to fire yours.

As for the corch...let the BsCs chips fall where they may. I look for a vacancy at CU as well.

  3. Staci: Heh! Can you e-mail me that picture again? I thought I had kept it, but can't find it.

Oh yeah...I saw what happened to OU. Sorry kiddo...

Skunks, we tried to fire Mary last time, but the National Republican Party chose absolutely the worst possible candidate to "get behind" to defeat her. Republicans suck sometimes...

  5. Um...Gloria Gaynor sang "I Will Survive", not Donna Summer.
