Guess who's two years old...

It's me!

Well, not really me, but this blog officially turns "two" today. While I have been collecting information for this blog for 50 years, it has been but a scant two years that I've been dazzling folks on the world-wide computer with said info. I know that it must seem MUCH longer than that to regular visitors to Andy's Place.

We began publishing on Jan. 2, 2008. Now, 1585 1586 posts, 37 comments, and 13 readers later, we have arrived at our second birthday. Well...if you are a parent, you know just how incorrigible, mean, selfish, unruly, and badly in need of a spanking two year-olds are.

Feel free to discipline when necessary...

This is the one that kicked off all the fabulous wisdom & entertaining junk that you have come to wish this blog would provide.

I wish to thank you all for your kind words, and support of this meager effort. I wish to give special thanks to CosmicConservative and Dadman, whose blog encouraged me to give it a rip. And, to Paul Mitchell (Two Dogs, Mean Ol' Meanie, whatever), who was the first blogger to ever link to this joint. (except for Dadman)

Oh, and I must thank my cousin/friend Walt, who left the first comment.

It has been a joy to get to know so many others...read about their lives...in a small way, becoming a part of them. There are too many to mention, but you know who you are.

And, I will leave you all with a picture today.

I had no idea how or when I would ever use it, but I like it, and this seems like as good a time as any.
