When is this crap gonna end?

Students Kicked Off Campus For Wearing American Flag Tees.

"I think they should apologize cause it is a Mexican Heritage Day," Annicia Nunez, a Live Oak High student, said. "We don't deserve to be get disrespected like that. We wouldn't do that on Fourth of July."

Ummm...Chica, just a little Americana education here...The 4th of July is a US National Holiday.  Schools are closed that day.

Moron.

  1. Perhaps someone should teach these children that you can't 'disrespect' something that doesn't deserve respect.

  2. I am NOT upset for the school sending the kids home actually, but they should have sent them home because the United States flag is NEVER to be worn as a garment other than in its entirety on a uniform.

The Mexican kids should be beaten and sent back to Mexico if they are illegals, though.

  5. Around here, there ain't no school on the 4th of July. There are a lot of drunk latinos in the emergency room, though, getting stitches from the M-80s that went off in their hands.

  6. One thing the fallout of the Arizona immigration law has revealed is just how dire the illegial situation is. There are millions of illegals in the U.S who not only refuse to obey our immigration laws, but will label anyone who insists they do as racists. And as we have seen they have millions of sympathetic American lefties who spout the same nonsensical rhetoric.

As a rule of law kind of guy this debate has left me scratching my still full head of hair wondering how a fundamential law and order issue has been portrayed as a rebirth of Nazism. Yes, enforcing immigration law in AZ = Nazism. Enforcing immigration laws in any other nation = logical, reasonable enforcment of law. The Phoenix Suns management, btw, has labeled a significant percentage of their fans as Nazi sympathizers.

To answer your question, I don't think it's going to end any time soon. In fact, I think its going to get worse.

  7. Inno...pretty soon they'll be past you, and up into BC. Hang in there.

Dadman, I fear that you are right. And, the point about your State's new law bringing the issue to the boiling point is a very good one.

The entire nation is getting to actually see just how much Mexican nationalism, and how much America hatred there is amongst a significant percentage of the Hispanic immigrant population.

I didn't mention this originally, but I have some sympathy for this school Principal.

Even though I don't agree with the Principal, it is his job to maintain order at his school. I imagine that his worries about violence breaking out, and the safety of the boys wearing the T-shirts were valid.

It pisses me off big-time that we are overrun with Mexicans that take the American Flag as some kind of offense on "Cinco de Quatro," and that one Hispanic girl said they wouldn't do that to the flag boys on the 4th of July...I'm like, "hey chica...that American flag is yours, too!"

Sadly, that's not the mindset of the people we're talking about here.

And...I hope the Suns suffer an economic hit from their stunt. I don't know the demographic make up of the average Suns fan. But I'd guess that roundball is not real big among the immigrant population. Soccer, yeah...

Of course, there may be enough lib goofball Suns fans that it may not matter. But, I'm hoping the right-thinking fans make a statement.

  8. Anon, Nyuk!

Reminds me of the old Cheech & Chong song... "Beaners!"

I might have to add that to my sidebar. Thanks for the chuckle...
