Nyuk! (#823)

  1. That was such a GLARING lie, IMO. Good grief.

And even if it wasn't, it was ridiculous to repeat the conversation in that speech.

  2. Who woulda thunk we'd see the scales fall from the press's eyes?

  3. Moogie: I don't think they have yet. Completely. I KNOW it pains the press to see their God is only human, and a fairly incompetent human, at that.

  4. They're getting there, Moogie. I remember how they turned on Clinton (somewhat). But Clinton had the good fortune of a Republican Congress that he had to work with, and they kept him from doing too much destruction that caused public outrage. ObozO does not...so his fall from grace is likely to be much quicker.

I'm thinkin' that a bunch of media rats are starting to see the handwriting on the wall. It's gonna take a few more goof-ups before you see real criticism. But, the pot IS bubbling.

Staci, ya' know, I really don't doubt that Obama's little girl asked him that. I've raised a bunch of kids, and they're likely to ask you just anything. And, most of them think their Daddy can do dang near anything until they reach a certain age.

I'm sure she hears it from her friends at school..."Is your Daddy going to plug that leak?" They're all sharp kids (hear their parents talk about it at home, etc.), and probably do ask her.

I could see one of my kids wanting to know (just out of self defense at school). But, I learned a LONG time ago (when I was in that former occupation that you are one of the very few to know about) that when you're in front of a crowd, you don't talk about your kids (even if you're bragging on them for something). You'll regret it later on.

Bad move, Dad! But, I'm not really one to talk about making "bad moves" when it comes to child rearing.
