My third ever blog buddy of all times, Two Dogs (and one of the best, btw) has once again kicked off Blackuary at his joint. His Blackuary posts are legend. Always informative, and entertaining. So, you won't want to miss not one single one of 'em.
And, there is also fabulous news on the home front. I have reached "Black History Month" (formerly known as February) keeping my New Year's resolution. Yep! I have shaved every day now for 31 straight days. Of course, it helps that I've worked almost every one of those days, and had to.
Still...I'm good.
That's all! Heading to work.
I love y'all!
Oh wait...here's a good picture. I don't remember where I stole it from, but if it was you, "Thanks!"

Thanks for the link to Blackuary. Paul's got a great idea there and some important corrective info. And, man, I gotta get me one of them combo walker/snow scrapers in your pic!
ReplyDeleteYeah, Dan, I've been reading Paul's Blackuary posts for a couple of years now, and always learn something.
ReplyDeleteAnd, I thought that was you in the picture. Oh well...
Heh. Except for the snow (and the hat!), I thought it mighta been you old pal. I've heard that a Louisiana year (sometimes called a "hot and humid as hell" year) takes such a toll that it is 1 and 1/2 times as long as a regular year in aging effect. So that would put you at about the right corrected age to be the guy in the photo.
ReplyDeleteI need one of those contraptions for my 16 year old dog!
ReplyDeleteI watched a PBS show on Lincoln that was very informative - like Lincoln not being an abolitionist and only freeing the slaves in the South (not Nort) with the Emancipation Proclimation. But then for years people have thought the Civil War was fought over slavery.
ReplyDeleteLou, don't even get me started on Mr. Lincoln...
ReplyDeleteSeriously, don't get me started.
