I know that I have kept y'all in expense for awhile now about my "big day" standing up with my buddy Bobby Jindal at his inauguration as Governor of the great State of Louisiana.
The truth is, it was such an overcoming experience that it is taking me awhile to get my thoughts down on the computer about it all. It was "bitter-sweet" in alot of ways. It made me feel "sweet," but made me stink something "bitter."
I have left the pictures off at Wal-Mart, and just as quick as they call my neighbor and leave a message for him to tell me that they "are in," (our phone is cut off right now, and that's another story) I'm gonna get up there and pick those pictures up. Then, I'm gonna put the pictures up on the computer, and tell y'all the whole deal. I can barely wait (I just don't want to tell the story without the photographs alongside).
I hate to tease everybody without giving any details, but I'm still "foggy" from the glory of it all. But trust me, it was the first time I ever went to Baton Rouge and felt like I didn't get ripped off.
