A BIBLICAL THOUGHT ON OUR NEXT PRESIDENT...

There are a whole lot of folks more schooled in The Bible than me. But if you know me, you know that I believe The Holy Bible. It's hard to interpret sometimes, but I have done a good bit of study in it, and about it. I'm gonna try to explain this in a clear way, but if I fail, it won't be the first time.

As a Redneck that follows the news, the pundits, the internet, and the Mrs., I believe that Hillary Clinton is likely to be the next President of the United States. I pray that she's not, but there is a good chance that she will.

Now, I don't want to offend any ladies, so y'all ladies will have to read this closely if you don't want to be offended.

According to the Bible, women should never "rule over" people. Now, the Bible doesn't say that women shouldn't have places of authority, or shouldn't be leaders. It just says that you are living under a curse if women rule over you (not just a curse to men...a curse to women also).

The prophet Isaiah was moaning over the shape that Israel had gotten itself into when he wrote, "As for my people, children are their oppressors, and women rule over them. O my people, they which lead thee cause thee to err, and destroy the way of thy paths." Isaiah 3:12 KJV

Israel was then living under a curse that I believe applies to the US now. Surely, we in the US have plenty...new cars, plenty of food, the best of everything really...but I do see a parallel between Isaiah's time, and ours.

"...children are their oppressors..." I won't go into this too deeply, but I could not imagine 30 years ago that children would be in charge of their homes (and schools) as they are today. I could not imagine that children would be suing their parents in court for spanking them. I could not imagine that Child Protection Services would be taking children away from their parents for spanking them in public. I could not imagine that 13-year-old kids by the thousands would be roaming the streets of major cities wreaking havoc on law abiding men and women as they are. I could not imagine the awful state of discipline in the schoolroom, with teachers just trying to get home alive and not facing a lawsuit. I could not imagine being so oppressed by punk kids as the US is now. But we are.

And it doesn't just stop with violence in the streets, or loss of authority at home, or at school... (you fill in the blank).

But the point I want to make is that it is a curse from God if women "rule over" you. In my lifetime I have watched Margaret Thatcher, Golda Maier, and other women lead their nations with great dignity and success. But these women were "leading" their nations, not "ruling" them. There is a big difference in a "leader," and a "ruler."

They were women that served their nations, and their causes, understanding that they were servants of their fellow-citizens, not "rulers" over them.

My complete revulsion of a Hillary Clinton Presidency has nothing to do with the fact that she is a woman. I can accept, support, and follow a female "leader." But my fear is that Hillary has within her no humility. She has no ability to understand that the solemn trust of the US Presidency is to be a "servant" of the citizenry. I know that she has no understanding that the US Presidency is an office requiring a servants' heart unlike any other in global politics.

I believe that if Hillary becomes President, she will assume that she has been elected to "rule over" the United States. I have watched this creature for most of my adult life, and I know that she is bent on being "Queen."

Her goal in life is to enslave every citizen of the US...to require us all to conform to her twisted vision of what is "good,"...to require us all to submit to her twisted "world view,"...to eventually "rule over" more than just the US.

She is a dangerous woman. I don't believe that God will curse the US if Hillary is elected President. I believe that if Hillary becomes President, it will be evidence that we are living under His curse already.

I will close this out by saying that we should never allow a MAN to "rule over" us either. Political winds blow. Political sands shift. But if you think you need a "Ruler," look to Jesus. He is a Servant Ruler, a Trusted Friend, and a Rock that won't move.
