Well, it seems that country music legend, film star, song-writer, and Broadway performer Dolly Parton has her panties in a wad over Howard Stern, and his ignorant radio program.This article has the scoop on how "shocked, and humiliated" she is over the fact that Howard Stern took her audio book and spliced together remarks that made her seem less than the lady that she is.

"I have never been so shocked, hurt and humiliated in all my life," Parton said in a statement on Wednesday. "I cannot believe what Howard Stern has done to me. In a blue million years, I would never have such vulgar things come out of my mouth. They have done editing or some sort of trickery to make this horrible, horrible thing. Please accept my apology for them and certainly know I had nothing to do with this."
She concluded: "If there was ever going to be a lawsuit, it's going to be over this. Just wanted you to know that I am completely devastated by this."
First off, come on gal...you're bigger than this! Shoot, you've probably had more jokes made about you by others (and by yourself) than any other singer in history (well, excepting Mick Jagger & Keith Richards). You said that you've never been more "humiliated." Heck girl, how long did you play second fiddle to Porter Waggoner? Think about it!
Secondly, any retard that listens to Howard Stern either doesn't a) know who you are, or b) knows just how demented Stern is...that's why they listen to the jerk. They're all brothers from different Mothers.
You're bigger than this. Your shocked, and horrified reaction to a shocking, and horrific jerk like Stern just gives his little show free pub. Drop it. Move on. You're an extremely talented, successful hick from the sticks. Your story is one of the great stories of Americana. Don't lower yourself down to where this Stern character is.
Lighten up!???? I do not take it lightly when someone starts making horriffically vulgar remarks about sexual abuse with children. Adults are one thing but the remark about Kenny Rogers and little boys just crosses the line with this "REDNECK". I think Kenny should sue him too ! Just because you're a "REDNECK" doesn't mean you have no class and think sexual abuse is a joke ! You aren't a real "REDNECK" because all of my "REDNECK" friends, well lets just say people disappear over shit like that.

Dolly is giving the guy exactly what he wants by going after him. My point is that she is above that...better than that.
I'm just saying that she should blow it off, and not give him the satisfaction of knowing that he got under her skin.
