Sometimes the "local stories" capture my interest more than Hillary and BarackO' and Johnny Mac slugging it out to become the most powerful person in the world.
A really weird deal came down this week in Northwest Louisiana. There is a town about 12 miles north of me called "Benton." It seems that a fellow a little older than me (Scott Mills) married a gal a little younger than me about 5 years ago. A month ago, they separated. Then this Scott Mills dude filed for a divorce (when you look at the picture of her you will know why).
Anyway...It seems that his estranged wife Shelia started looking for a "hit-man" to off Scott. This story is so weird that I'm not sure what to believe.
But I do know that the Bossier Parish Sheriff's Office did great work on this one! This Scott Mills cat contacted Sheriff Larry Deen when he found out that his ex-gal-friend-wife-woman was looking for someone to knock him off so that she could collect on a $Million insurance policy...

The Bossier Parish Sheriff's Office actually sent an undercover Deputy to meet with this chick. She actually gave him one grand in advance for the killing of her husband. This Deputy convinced her that he had "offed" her husband, and got everything on tape...
Dang...this is just like something from a Law & Order rerun...
