MAN, HIGH SCHOOL SURE HAS CHANGED!!!

It's been over 30 years since The Mrs. and I went to my high school prom. I don't remember much about it, but I am pretty sure that it was all "boy/gal" couples there.

It seems that down in Tangipahoa Parish, some lesbo couple was turned away at the Loranger High School senior prom.

Here is the article:

Gay Student Complains To Tangipahoa School Board

I think they did the right thing. The principal at the school made the point that it is a safety issue. I was talking to The Mrs., and we agreed (so I know I'm right) that queers or lesbos showing up at a setting like a senior prom just might cause a ruckus, and ruin the whole night for all the regular kids.

You only get one Senior Prom, and you don't want to spend it watching some drunk football player beat the stuffing out of a couple of homos...or get the stuffing beat out of him by a couple of lesbos for his snide remarks. (I shudder to think)

I guess I'm way out of the loop on this stuff. My high school senior son tells me that there are a bunch of really openly homo-acting boys and lesbos in high school now...not so many at his high school due to the fact that there are a bunch of black kids at his school, and it's not tolerated. But the other high schools in the area have a bunch of flamos and dykes.

What is high school coming to? It's a shame. Well, at least if these kids are willing to proclaim this stuff early on in their lives, maybe their folks can at least try to get their minds and hearts right early on. And if they can't, at least they won't reproduce...
