When the "Iranian Hostage Crisis" broke out in Tehran back in the 70's, my older brother was attending Louisiana Tech. I was still in High School at the time, but Chip was on campus when Iranian students (who were over here to learn about Petroleum Engineering, as LA Tech is one of the best educational institutions to learn how to get oil from this rock we live on) decided to hold an anti-American rally in support of their beloved Ayatolla Khomeni, and their civilized fellow students back in Iran who had decided to take matters into their own hands.
The protest involved the burning of several things...one was a picture of Jimmy Carter,
But it seems that they get more grace from home folks. Here is what they think of the peaceful, tolerant "Big O."
