Hi y'all!
I believe in the power of prayer. One of our readers, Paul, (not Paul Mitchell) in the comments, asked to be remembered in prayer this week. Paul is our resident Oregon Duck fan (Quack!), and is a career "emergency services" guy.
His area is likely to be in the path of Hurricane Ida. As a "first responder," he and his fellows will need the strength of God to help them do their heroic work.
So, y'all take a break, and lift up Paul, and really every policeman, fireman, EMS worker, etc. in prayer as they prepare for the arrival of Ida.

Andy and All! Thanks for the Prayers!! They worked! We dodged a big bullet. Only got a little over an inch of rain, very little wind. We didn't even get any tree over the road calls and we ALWAYS get those. Those are the routine calls that folks get hurt on, the little simple things. Thanks again, Andy, it's very much appriciated!!
