Y'all want to see a couple of "tough guy" warriors?

Why, of course you do!

My Airman, October, 1985

My Soldier, October 1996

Man! I sure miss those days...

  1. Those boys had some sho-nuff beards for their age! I wouldn't mess with them.

  2. Yeah Jim, they were "early-bloomers."

Oldest son is a "moose." I mean, a big, strong, fast, tough guy...

Both of 'em are tough men (kinda like your boy). I wouldn't mess with 'em either.

  3. Man, they grow up way to fast! Becca is half way to her graduate degree. I was just thinking the other day about watching her out the front window at Ft. Lewis playing on a blanket with all her dolls in the front yard on a rare sunny day. Wish I'd taken a picture, but I was afraid I'd miss something! Seems like it WAS just last week........

  5. Paul, no doubt...we really don't know how quickly those moments flee.

Red, Precious Memories, indeed! Thanks for sharing them with me.

I bet they miss home just as much.

  7. Well Nancy, I don't know. The jury is still out on that one. Their Daddy could be a pretty big pain in the rear.

But, thanks for noting just how beautiful my little boys were/are. The other two are just as handsome/beautiful/beloved. They're just not the "cowboy" type...

  9. Once again, great pics; good lookin' kids.. I'm thinkin' the boys just MIGHT be cringin' a lil bit over these but... what the Hey. This is what parents are FOR.

  10. Barry & Buck, thanks for chiming in. Yes, they are the most handsome of young men...and fine, decent, faithful men to boot. All of them are.

It is very kind of you all.

Buck...my sons are not cringing. As hard as I try to make 'em squirm, they don't look at this blog. And, even if they did, they'd just be rolling their eyes...they're a rough crowd.
